Production

Following the Russian nomenclature, coal from Rostovskaya Mine is a Class A deposit. The total thickness of the seam ranges from 1.27 to 2.13 m.

The coals of all seams are represented by mid- and high-ash, mid- and high-sulphur anthracites, suitable for use as power fuel.

Plans

The business plan cover mining until 2033 and it shows that about 16.5 million tonnes will be worked from this field.

The estimated financial plans for this period include capital expenses  in about RUR 21.785 billion for 15 years. Among the main capital expenses are cost of equipment, construction of the infrastructure and permits required to commission and operate the mine.
